Visit Tracking — TrackOS Dashboard

The TrackOS dashboard turns traffic data into understandable analytics views. This page presents the platform’s reporting interface, complementing the tracking script and collector described in the main TrackOS project.

Exploring website activity

• An overview of visits, unique visitors, average duration and bounce indicators.
• A stream of new visits and active visitors updated through Socket.IO.
• Analysis by website and date range: traffic trends, popular pages and recent visits.
• Cross-site comparisons, breakdowns by country, device, browser and operating system, and activity by hour and day.
• Management of tracked websites and access to their HTML snippets from the same interface.

The interface uses React/Vite, Redux Toolkit and Material UI with Chart.js charts. It queries TrackOS Node.js/Express APIs and MySQL; independent authentication with session renewal restricts data to authorised websites.

My role: screen and chart design, state management, API and real-time event integration, and deployment. The aim is to make traffic easy to review at a glance, then explore its indicators in detail.
